Hello, recently i've just launched a new side project called GraphicDash. Where you can order banner design for all types (Instagram Stories, FB Ads, Google Display Ads and custom banner for your online shops etc).
I want to know, if the landing page have a clear message, and what can i improve to start getting my first client. I'm sure my team can deliver a better banner design, but i'm a little bit clueless about online marketing. Let me know and thank you for your time! :D
A pricing link was the first thing I looked for... When you say "unlimited revisions", it must be expensive...
Noted, i’ll add the pricing page. Actually we can do unlimited revision with our workspace tool, client can give feedback and annotate the design, and the drafted design have watermark on it (i’m planning on include the actual screenshot on the homepage)
Thank you for the comment ;)
Hey Richard,
I really like your page design. I can tell you put a lot of thought into where elements are placed and how they move around and become responsive. Looks great!
I do have a bit of advice though especially because you say you're not familiar with online marketing. From what I see, you're selling the "what" but not the "why". Saying it a different way, you're selling the features but not the benefits. The following questions are unanswered for me: Why should I buy your product? Think about the problem you're trying to solve and answer that question in your first headline.
Here's a hypothesis... Suppose I'm a customer and I've spent a lot of time creating my own banner ads and they just look unprofessional and are ugly. Further more, I'm conveying a negative and unprofessional image to my customers too. That is my problem. So, yes I'm trying to make better looking banner ads, but the real problem is that potential customers perceive me as an amateur.
This could lead me to leading with the following types of headlines:
These aren't great examples because they're not well thought out, but you can see that you're starting with the problem that your customers face and building a bit of curiosity. They see the headline and want to scroll down to learn more.
Once you've got their attention, you can build on it by showing them how to do what you described. I think you're "How it works" page is awesome already, just include the content on your home page. For no other reason, studies show that people are more likely to scroll than click which means you have more of a chance of converting them.
So now your customer has aligned with the problem you've described in your headline, has scrolled to learn how to solve this problem and now wants to know what you're selling them. This is the point where you tell them about the "what" and potentially show them a pricing table.
Here's a great video to give more detail and examples about what I'm talking about:

One other area that I would suggest is that the order of steps to complete an order for a new banner seems backwards. I would imagine that if you began tracking falloff, you're going to see a big drop as soon as someone clicks "Start Order". I would suggest leading with the design brief and making the last step the package selection. This will get customers more invested and they will be more likely to finish the process. With this in mind, you would also need to include your pricing on another page or the homepage as well.
Other than that, I think your product looks fantastic and you're doing great. Hope what I've mentioned helps!
Wow thank you Kyle! This is very helpful, you’re right i need to share more about “why” than “what”
Things looks pretty solid (though I am not looking for banner designer nor am I familiar with this).
Then I thought of people going to Fiverrr ...
Thank you Desmond! Yes ussualy people will go to Fiverrr. I need to find more value prop for this. I think the “reason” is a nice start :)
Hi Richard,
Congrats on launching. It's interesting to me that you are (1) selling a product in the online marketing space, without (2) knowing about online marketing (your words not mine). If I were you, I'd change either 1 or 2. Fast.
I'm afraid I don't have time to go through your landing page in detail to give feedback right now, but here's a broader piece of feedback to take away:

Currently, your solution is just one piece in the puzzle when solving the customer's problem of 'banner ads which perform better' - you don't help with all of the other problems like wording, testing, targeting, budgeting etc...
For these reasons, companies tend to go to advertising/marketing agencies to help them run their adverts. Why don't you offer your services to marketing agencies (ie let them outsource the design and focus on what they are good at). Full time designers are expensive...

Just a thought.
Good luck!
Hi Louis, yes i’ll try to offer this to marketing agency, it’s make sense if they want to outsource some small design works. Thank you!
