Is there demand for an easy way to find Instagram influencers' emails?
Hey everyone,
I've started working on an idea I had to make a web application that allows you to search for Instagram influencers and obtain their email addresses. Just wanted to see if you guys have any interest in this before I go too much further?
I've found some competitors, mainly NinjaOutreach and Heepsy, but I've given up on a lot of ideas due to competition so I decided I'm just going to try capture a slice of the market this time. To differentiate a bit from existing services, I was thinking of focusing just on Instagram, unlike NinjaOutreach and emphasizing email outreach above everything. I also think I could afford to charge less for the service as it would be more focused on a specific use case.
Thoughts?
A lot of influencers have their email address in the bio, so it's easy to extract this data. BUT don't forget about GDPR and Instagrams TOS, it's not really allowed.
I've looked into the TOS but I guess I should read more about it. If I can solve that, do you think it's an idea worth pursuing?
What i know that it's a lot of work. You can't use the Instagram API for this, so you have to write your own bots and crawlers to collect enough data. Maybe you also have to separate the influencers into categories (fitness, fashion, etc), so you also have to write algorithms to find out the categories etc.
