Only one consideration needed. First thought that came to mind was "targeting". Maybe let people tag their product, and the advertisers can pick tags to advertise against. Then you'd have to make sure everyone gets the same amount of gain out of this system.
For example, I have a product for a very specific need and would not want it advertised too randomly.
I did a text based ads for now – or should we do image banners instead?
