I just earned $1,000 in AWS credits through AWS Activate!
I submitted my side project https://blitapp.com to https://aws.amazon.com/activate/ and got $1,000 credit for AWS. I think it's great that amazon offers incentives like this. Now I can spend my income on marketing for the next year or so and focus on growth. AWS activate also includes access to business training. I thought I would share this with everyone on indiehackers because I've seen posts where people are hesitant to start something because of concerns about cloud costs.

I thought you had to be a part of "select accelerators, incubators, Seed/VC Funds, and other startup-enabling organizations." in order to qualify for that?
I've been looking into that but it's not clear where I can apply for it

Nice work! What was the process like for it? I haven't heard of it, but the application requirements look like a business website and a business email address associated with it. Was there anything else a part of it?
That was basically it. I think I may have had to enter a bit more personal information. Then I waited a couple weeks and it was approved.

Nice. I was looking for some credits for ML experiments. Do you have to host on AWS only? Is there any binding?
I'm not sure what their policy is for that. blitapp.com is exclusively on AWS. But you can always apply for the credits and find out.
