Is there a website where people share ideas to work on?
I often have ideas that I don't have the time or skills or knowledge to work on, but I'd love for someone else to pick it up / refine it. Is there a place where people post the ideas that they have?
I imagine it being almost like a StackOverflow where the whole community can refine an idea and do things like mark it as a "duplicate" of something that already exists or another idea someone has posted, etc.
I feel like I've seen a website that does something like this posted at least once on HN or somewhere, but I can't remember what it was.
I was thinking of something where you would start with problems and use stories and potential solutions and then be able to fork things.
this makes me think of forks creating a tree of problems, stories, and solutions that could then form a visual map of a problem space and how people are thinking about it.. i like that visual a lot!
The millionaire fastlane forums have that.

ideaswatch looks like it has a lot of spam comments / crud... I really like how StackOverflow keeps the spam and low-effort stuff to a minimum, though that takes a really highly engaged community for sure.

Heh, I guess a Trello board is really all you need for an MVP. I think your board permissions might need to be modified a bit though - I could comment on existing cards but not create any new ones.

I hadn't really thought of it as a Github or IH... but @BobSnyder also mentioned the notion of forking things.. maybe you guys are on to something!
