It's great that you are looking for freelance solo programmer work. Would you ever consider using a marketplace like Upwork? Other options exist today like gigster and a few other businesses. Perhaps you can start with these marketplaces.

If you really want to make customer acquisition repeatable, you'll want to get as narrow as you can with what you're offering. If you are offering developer talent find an ecosystem that you can get specialized in that compliments your strengths and passions.

Do you have a lot of familiarity with Dev Ops or IaaS configurations? Check our AWS/GCP ecosystems. If you're into communication, perhaps you can build some services around twilio in their partner ecosystem. Salesforce has a big ecosystem where you could learn their API's and become a dev consultant for companies looking to achieve specific tasks with Salesforce.
