Is it possible to combine passion + earning money?
I'm wondering if you think it's possible to run a business doing something you actually, truly love doing and still making money. Instead of the other way around (which I've done previously, thinking of products that I know will make money.)
I'd like to write about games, tech and anything geeky. I assume I'd be able to monetize it through ad revenue, merchandise or a monthly subscription.
What do you think?
This is definitely something that is possible because I believe without passion you wont be able to give 100% focus and dedication throughout the time. The passion is what will drive you to continue working on the product or service even through the most difficult times.
Again in my opinion: With writing content it maybe worth building it initially as a blog or something similar and then once the reading and user base builds up start to look at adding monetisation after this point.
