Genie Nomad | Customized Traveling for Less (Southeast Asia)

Hi IH,

I just recently got back from a very incredible trip around SE Asia where I traveled for about 6 months, working remotely and enjoying the time over there.

After getting back, I've been getting lots of requests, from people who were curious about the experience, on how I was able to do the trip, how much it cost, where did I go, etc. When talking about my experience, most of them were in shock to know that traveling to and living in the region isn't expensive. I figured most people are simply scared of doing something like that, although most want to do it.

Soon enough, I've started helping a few people with insights of where to go, what to do, where to stay, how to create and track a budget, what to expect, etc. I've realized there might be a nice side-gig to complement my consulting work.

Given this, I decided to create Genie Nomad (https:genienomad.xyz): customized travel plans. It's obviously in MVP phase and I'm not building beyond the tools and guides I've built for myself until I prove it's something people want to pay for.

My plan is to find people who'd like to try it. Perhaps, give something for free to acquire these users. Once I acquire a few, I can start building the package itself. After the feedback loop, I'll start automating the parts of the process I can. I'm also planning on offering some add-ons for before, during, and after the users embark on their travels (assuming they even do so) to improve their travel experience.

In my opinion, I see this as an opportunity similar to the one where you're the "tech guy" at family dinners. Well, I'm now kind of the "nomad guy" at family dinners.

Any feedback I can get would be very useful. Things like, am I communicating the right message, and is it coupled with enough information to convince someone to pay for the customized package?
