Former finance guy attempts to be useful to society
After quitting my finance job to start building my own stuff, I ran an accountability group with some friends. Finding a simple, sharable way to track our daily challenges proved impossible, so we ended up using a clunky Google Docs and Google Forms solution. It wasn’t ideal, but it worked.
When the group was done and with some new knowledge under my belt, I decided to make my first webapp – one to let us all track our habits and easily see how everyone in the group was doing. Making webapps is something that I’ve wanted to do for years, but I somehow stumbled into a job in finance instead. Still recovering.
It feels good to have made something that I can see people using and benefiting from! I’m proud of putting it together after having no experience and just teaching myself how to do this.
The webapp feels amateur though. Needs polish. I would appreciate any feedback that you can offer based on a first impression.
Most of my comments on this kind of 'I need feedback for my landing page/app' post say the same thing - I understand what your app does but not why I should use it.
In all honesty, without watching the video on your landing page, I don't really understand either the what or the why ...
Perhaps I'm just having an off-day, yet worth considering...

How long did it take you to make this? Any coding knowledge?
About 2.5 months.
After working along with a youtube tutorial to learn a bit about PHP and AJAX to supplement some experience with javascript, it took me a month averaging 4 hours a day to get the site running. Since then, I worked for another two months, again averaging 4 hours a day.
