Ask IH: Meet Online Friends in Real Life Pre-Prototype

MeetInReal.Life - Meet your friends from online communities IRL

There was a thread last week asking people to post their locations but it was hard to group people geographically. I had faced a similar issue with other online communities in the past, so I decided to try to solve it now.

As a quick "weekend" hack, I scraped a few pages from IndieHackers and created a geo clustered grouping for potential local meet up groups. The clusters are formed around the largest city within a 100km radius of each person.

The goal is to create a comprehensive tool for meet up planning, more than just a listing. Something that can be embedded/shared in forums, FB groups, remote teams...

In the spirit of lean MVP:

1. Is this prototype useful? Does it solve a problem?
2. What are some ways in which it can grow?
