Lessons learned from jump start advice

Blueprints, templates, and consulting all can be a great way to jump start your company's efforts in targeted areas such as growth, marketing, and sales.

I've seen the best results when the information and advice given matches up with your:

• Budget
• Startup stage
• Values

If the advice is based on working with well-funded startups, and you're bootstrapping a side hustle, then you might not have the funds to follow their advice.

If the advice is based on growing companies from $10k monthly recurring revenue, and you're at $2k, then the advice might not work. For example, you might need to establish higher trust or authority before some strategies can play out well.

If the tactics suggested don't match up with your company values, you might erode your brand or shift it in a direction that you just don't want.

I've had this conversation a few times recently and thought I'd share my thoughts here. If this helps you, or if you have questions or challenges please share.
