SaaS reseller market place
Hello everyone,
I'm new to Indiehackers and absolutely love it so far. Wish I had known about it the last two year while bootstrapping my startup. Perhaps you can help me now, I've recently been researching if there are any software reseller marketplaces/platforms and came up only a couple of results.
I was wondering if you have any suggestions if there are any sites where you can list my saas product (like a marketplace)' but unlike capterra I'm looking for a site where resellers come to find the software they would like to resell to their customers.
Sales is the hardest part for Bootstrappers in my opinion we do not have budgets to hire sharp shooter sales execs but if we can find resellers it could be a better sales strategy for bootstrapped SaaS companies and resellers win because are building passive recurring revenue.
When you say resellers of saas are you referring to places where you can list your saas product (like a marketplace) or a list of companies that sell or recommend a saas solution to their customers as part of their service offerings (like cloud integrators who might have a suite of cloud tools they use when working with business customers).
As a developer of saas products I would definitely be interested in the second option (already have a decent list for the first) especially if you could pitch them on products that would fill a hole in their current solution set or do a better job than their current goto tool.

So really it is actually much closer to the 2nd option described. That's really interesting Paul. It would be interesting to know what they are currently using and why in order to help you position yourself relative to the tools that they are using in different situations.

Thanks Karen I just checked it out. It's obviously aimed at devs so I'm guessing API and documentation is a basic requirement? I wish there was a manifold.co for sales people. :)
:) yeah i think they are trying to help devs managed all the services they use to build things faster.
What kind of things would a manifold.co for sales people have? All the SaaS tools for finding info about people, closing leads, etc?

Ah so I totally did not make it clear. Although my miscommunication has unearthed another interesting concept, a website for SaaS sales tools.
Ok so I would like to see a marketplace where vendors like me post my SaaS product on and on the other side sales reps (probably freelancers) can pick and choose which type of software the want to resell to their existing customers /network of contacts. So for example a sales rep in retail could go to this site and find retail SaaS to resell.
