I’m an African American that’s been interested in startups and technology for a while now. My background is in Economics/Finance.
I'm African Australian, what i love about this community is that they do not discriminate, they are supportive no matter what race you are or where you live, just let them know what you have made or what you are trying to make and they will help you out mate :)

The entire premise of you’re post is incorrect being Black does matter.
Personally, it hasn't mattered much to me. But it might matter a lot to you, and that's just fine. It's really your decision imo.
