10 Best IPTV Services in the Netherlands for 2026 (Honest 90-Day Test)

Ziggo + KPN + Viaplay + F1 TV Pro was costing me €95/month, and every Verstappen weekend I was toggling between three apps. Bought 10 IPTV services, tested them for 90 days on a Fire TV Stick 4K over KPN Fiber 1 Gbps in Amsterdam, and scored each on Eredivisie/F1/Champions League/Premier League coverage, peak-hour stability, VPN routing and refund UX.
Here's what actually worked.

The 3-tier read
- Budget (<€3/month): 4.24/10 average. F1 and Eredivisie coverage broken on all three budget services. Skip.

Why budget is broken for Dutch viewers
F1 rights are locked to Viaplay in the Netherlands with strict geo-controls. Any service under €3/month uses an unlicensed European feed that gets geo-blocked on race weekends — the highest-traffic broadcasts of the year, exactly when the feed dies. I lost qualifying at Silverstone to this. iDEAL payments failed on two of three tested budget providers.
Why premium is a trap
Activation averaged 5-6 hours vs. under 10 minutes at mid-tier. One provider marked cancellation "under review" for 12 days. Their annual-VIP upsell used a fake 40%-off timer three times in checkout.
Three Netherlands-specific things to know
- KPN Fiber and Freedom Internet are best for IPTV. Ziggo (cable) traffic-shapes evenings consistently — same subscription looks different across ISPs.
- iDEAL is safer than card. Two providers had cards blocked by ING and Rabobank flagging high-risk merchants. iDEAL went through cleanly.
