Hello, I'm Roger. I've changed careers from digital marketing to software engineering. I love software! Also I'm a serial entrepreneur; so I keep trying ;) Since my last business I've changed my focus to include small projects that will or could bring in small revenue each month. Sort of idea carpet bombing and success by a thousand launches strategy. Financially I'm targeting a monthly take-home income of between $10k-$15k. As well I don't tend to focus on ideas that require any material customer service. I don't want to build the financial freedom I'm looking for and then bind myself to my desk answering emails. I'm doing this so I can focus nearly exclusively on family + friends + person growth.
I'd love to connect with others who are doing something similar! I'm happy to partner with others who bring skills, ideas and experience to the table. I'm not looking for any investment opportunities inbound or outbound.
My goal would be to find someone like minded that is happy to collaborate in a symmetrical relationship that is fair, honest and open.

Hi @AKWest I've a few thoughts, but I think one of my favs is to build software apps around hockey and sports management, because it doesn't seem to be well supplied with good tools.
I really like your idea about building an allergy focused cooking app.
That sounds great. I have a cousin who referees soccer and he has complained before that he wishes he had a "team app." I'm not entirely sure what exactly he was looking for or if your product would meet his needs but it definitely highlights at least a need in the market!

I think I've got a decent handle on what I'm supposed to be doing with where I'm starting (SQL DB). The problem is that I'm very afraid to test because I could be very very wrong and I have no idea.

Hockey soccer, you never know what insight he could have that could cause innovation or spur a thought. I'll always listen regardless.

Hey, I built up my business around my family. I have 5 kids, plus home educate. It is possible, not easy, but easier in the long run imho.
You mention sports, one of my boys does football/soccer every week with a coach and other drop in home edders. The coach manages it via FB messages and whatsapp groups. There must be an easier way?! He does like to keep his tech really simple though, I think he has a pretty basic phone and probably not much more than that.
