6 things that doubled course sales for the creators I work with (none of them were "lower the price")

After watching many creators sell courses, the ones who grew didn't have better content. They had better fundamentals:

Sell the outcome, not the curriculum. "12 modules, 4 hours of video" converts worse than "ship your first app in a weekend." Nobody wants modules. They want the after.

Price for transformation, not for length. A 45-minute course that solves a $5k problem can out-earn a 20-hour course that solves a hobby.

Add a community, even a small one. Completion rates jump when students aren't alone. Solo courses get abandoned at lesson 2.

Bundle a "quick win" in the first 10 minutes. If they win early, they finish — and they refund less.

Stop hiding your price. "DM for pricing" kills more sales than a high number ever will.

Sell to your existing audience 5x before chasing cold traffic. Warm sells. Cold educates.

None of this is about the platform you use — it's about the offer. (Though having courses + community + checkout in one place removes a lot of the duct tape. We built EzyCourse for that, but the list above works anywhere.)

What's the one change that moved the needle most on your digital product sales?

The part I'd be most curious about is which of these tends to get misattributed.

I've seen founders change pricing, curriculum, community, and positioning at the same time, then become confident in the wrong explanation for why sales moved.
