We've just reached 500 paying subscribers (members) at Rebel Book Club.
It's been a side project for 3 years but now looking to accelerate.
Looking to double membership by end of year. Have lots of ideas (from referrals to city franchising to personalised video responses to apps) but would love to hear some fresh ones :)
cheers!
That's amazing :)
As someone who loves community building, and have always wondered of ways to get people to meet locally, I'd love to hear more about how you are doing that.
thanks Rosie - we've had a meetup every month with a bespoke cocktail. We usually get about a third of our members coming to them, so this week about 170. We've hosted the meetups in co-working spaces, businesses like Airbnb HQ and Virgin, and sometimes outdoors!
That's a great turn out.
What is it that you think gets them to pay and show up? Who is the typical kind of member?
