A product can win the click and still lose the second visit

When I discover a new indie tool, I’m not only asking whether it looks polished.

I’m asking: would I know when to come back?

That question has changed how I think about discovery while building IndieNeed — discovery for indie makers, SaaS, AI tools, and side projects.

The useful signal isn’t just launch-day attention. It’s whether a maker leaves me with a reason to remember the product next week.

What makes you return to a product you discovered once?

A recurring workflow? A problem that keeps coming back? A useful update? Something else?

Share your answer — and an example if you have one — in the comments. I’m collecting patterns, not rankings.

If this resonates, an upvote helps more makers weigh in.

Love this angle. Building Xstream4K right now so this hits close to home — what made you look into it in the first place?
