Ask IH : Franchises ?

Just wanted to get everyone’s take on an idea.

Saas products generally are global in nature, but some can potentially gain more traction by having an on the ground sales team, imagine a software for contractors....

Would you hybrid out a model that worked on a territory basis? Ie person would “own” the region just like a franchise store?

I’ve just been thinking about it and was wondering?

You'll need a proto-type to work in a local market. then , the opportunity has to enough for someone to buy. I've been thinking about this space for a while. Still working on getting a local proto type going.

Hi @BobSnyder completely agree. I’m talking from a business model sense? Assuming you had a working prototype and your SAAS was running? To get more traction would you sell off territories?

Funny, I had this thought for a few week as my https://budgetfuchs.de is nearing completion and I want to focus on the german markets while handing other regions to local people with marketing skill while I stick to development.

I'd go territory, country-wise, even host a copy of my webapp in that territory.

FYI - A couple of grammar and spelling things on your home page.

Really? @TomK32 Would you even host in that country? I was thinking to effectively just have the country as a sales arm, with all key gloabl functions in one place, just liek franchises, eg Mcdonalds supplies everything to their local team?
