Marriott, has been ordered by Pennsylvania's attorney general to pay $225,000 fine for violating a settlement agreement that required them to disclose "hidden" resort fees to customers. The announcement was made on Wednesday.

"What we asked of Marriott, and what the settlement demands, is simple: be up front with consumers and do not hide fees for hotel stays," Attorney General Michelle Henry said in a news release. "I am thankful that Marriott has agreed to comply with the terms of settlement agreement without the need for litigation."
