Bet I'm building the tool you've been waiting for
TL;DR: In weeks you will get the extension for real-time subtitles with interactive translation.
Wanna tell you that I'm kinda tired of subtitles nowadays, it sucks and the reasons are obviously simple.
You see that I learn English by watching some videos / animes and there are two options:
Subtitles do not match with characters' current speech, and what I saw, that subtitle variant is way simpler than dub one, some subs are decent, but most aren't.
If you need to translate some unknown word, you need to retype it into a translator (too looong) or get the screenshot, send it to AI and wait a translation (too long), also it ruins the flow
So well, what do we have here, a couple of problems that I'm going to fix. It isn't some hard app, it is the lite extension right in your fav browser (chrome based)
Practical use will be like open your browser, turn on some video and enjoy. Subtitles are generated automatically, when you encounter some unknown word, click on it, and the popup with full sentence with highlighted word will appear translated.
It requires no account, works out of the box.
