Very very nice and creative use of pseudo-elements! And it all looks very cool. Great job!
Gotta say this is really cool. In particular I really love the containers, reminds me of the old Gameboy games I played as a kid. You really nailed the aesthetic.
Now I just gotta find something to use it on!
