🥳Building my first profitable SaaS at 16

Hello indiehackers,

I hope that you guys are having the best holiday season so far! I have been thinking about sharing this story for a while, so I decided to write this post in the end.

Exactly 30 days ago I came up with the idea of Affistash. I really saw a big potential in the Affiliate Marketing niche, after looking up the huge demand of a platform like ours in that niche.

Anyway, I knew from the start that I wanted to give myself at least 14 days of trying to validate this product before starting to write a single line of code, so I immediately messaged my fellow co-founder Adrian to help me with putting this whole idea up, and he was as hyped as I was! ;)

We had 2 weeks of really productive talks with affiliate marketing managers, beginner and advanced marketers, just so we could understand their deepest problems, and integrate them in our product. We decided to pivot to a more B2B approach, where we give out daily updates to our users, to keep them engaged, and charge our B2C customers less.

After we got all the info that we needed, we started coding the platform, and also a landing page that we used to get our first 50 early access users. Since me and my co-founder are both programmers, it was pretty easy, so we wanted it to be ready in less than 2 weeks, which we achieved in the end.

On the 15th of December we had our ProductHunt Launch, nothing crazy, but we got some awesome feedback! After the launch day, we had around 90 users register to the platform, so we knew that it was time to convert users into customers (we also have an formed Discord community helped us keep going xD)

We managed to convert around 3 users in the first 2 days and after some more promo on platform like Reddit, Twitter and Medium, we hit the 120 users mark.

Right now, 5 days after the launch, we sit at around 150 users, 5 paying customers, and around 3 startups interested to join the platform.

We are more motivated than ever and I am extremely excited to see what's coming for Affistash 🚀
