Built 6 production apps in one monorepo. Running an agency. Still learning every day. Here's my story.

I've been lurking here for a while, getting inspired by all of you building in public. Finally got posting access, so figured I'd introduce myself and share what I'm working on.
Quick background:
I'm Tevin. I run GeoApex, a lead generation and SEO agency based out of Wyoming. What started as client work eventually pushed me into building software to solve my own problems—and now I've got 6 production-ready apps/websites all living in one monorepo that I call my "marketing agency in a box."
The stack is Next.js, Prisma, Vercel—nothing groundbreaking, but it works. The apps handle everything from pSEO (AI-powered programmatic SEO) site generation to lead automation to AI-assisted workflows for the agency.
The real story:
I code. A lot. And I've gotten pretty deep into AI-assisted development—using Claude and GPT as collaborators, not just tools. It's changed how I build and how fast I can ship.
But here's the thing I keep noticing: so many people think there's some magic barrier between "business person" and "technical founder." There isn't. The barrier is just information—and most of that information doesn't get taught in school.
School teaches you to be an employee. It doesn't teach you:
How to validate an idea before building
How to price your services so you're not trading hours for dollars
How to build systems that work without you
How to use AI to 10x your output as a solo founder
How to actually ship and iterate instead of polishing forever
I've been learning these lessons the hard way running the agency, building the SaaS products, and teaching others how to code along the way.
What I'm doing now:
I'm not launching anything today—just wanted to say hey and start contributing to this community.
Right now I'm focused on:
Scaling GeoApex to 7-figures (we're not there yet, being transparent)
Finishing the GeoApex Engine SaaS (AI-powered pSEO generator)
Creating content around the real business lessons I wish someone told me 5 years ago
To you:
Curious—for those of you running agencies who also build products: how do you balance client work vs. product development?
I'm constantly pulled between "this client needs X" and "but if I just finish this feature, it scales without me." Would love to hear how others navigate that.
