Hey 👋
Just launched CashFlow Growth Analyzer - a tool that analyzes bank CSVs and shows SME founders 5 ranked growth opportunities in 60 seconds.
The problem:
Most businesses under $5M revenue don't have a CFO. They're making expensive cash flow mistakes but lack the financial expertise to spot them.
What I built:
Upload bank CSV (local processing only, data never leaves browser)
Get 5 opportunities ranked by impact
Each with dollar amounts, confidence level, and action steps
Example insights:
Customer concentration risk quantified
Working capital locked in payment timing
Underpricing analysis
Low-ROI marketing channels
Unused subscriptions
Tech stack:
React 18, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS. Built in 3 days using Bolt.new, deployed on Vercel.
Current goal:
Validate demand with 50 users in 14 days before adding any features. Zero feature creep until I know people actually want this.
Try it: cashflowgrowth.app
Questions for the IH community:
What am I missing from the insights?
Would you pay $49/month for weekly analysis delivered to your inbox?
Anyone else using Bolt.new for rapid prototyping?
Happy to share technical details or discuss the validation approach!
This is a really solid approach. A lot of founders overbuild before they know if anyone actually wants the solution. Focusing on cashflow insights with clear impact makes way more sense, especially for teams without a full finance function. If people can understand and act on this quickly, that’s real value.
Totally agree real, thoughtful conversation is hard to replace.
I ended up making a little Chrome extension called Pulse of Reddit that basically acts like my own alert system for Reddit.
Anytime someone posts something with keywords I care about like 'looking for a designer' or 'best SEO tool' it pings me right away. It’s saved me so much time and helped me hop into threads while they’re still fresh.
If you’re tired of manual digging and want to catch those conversations early, I’d really recommend giving it a look.
It’s free to start and super simple to set up.

That’s actually a smart way to stay on top of conversations. Catching threads while they’re still fresh makes a huge difference. Nice idea 👍
Thanks for your kind words. Have you tried this?
Nice approach with the validation-first mindset. Too many founders (myself included at times) overbuild before knowing if anyone cares.
On your question about missing insights - one thing SME owners consistently struggle with is payment timing patterns. Not just "you have working capital locked up" but specifically which customers always pay late vs which pay early, and whether offering small early-payment discounts could actually improve cash position. The insight writes itself when you can show "Customer X averages 47 days, costs you £X in opportunity cost annually."
Re: the $49/month question - I'd push back on weekly analysis. Most SMEs don't have time to action weekly insights. Monthly with actionable priorities might convert better, and you could price higher since the perceived value per interaction is greater. Though that depends on whether you're targeting founders who obsess over numbers vs those who want "set and forget" monitoring.
The local processing angle is smart for trust. Finance data is sensitive and a lot of businesses won't touch tools that upload their bank statements to third-party servers.
Great Insights, Give a try to my Reddit Extension. It's a Chrome extension called Pulse of Reddit that basically acts like my own alert system for Reddit.
