Hi, I'm building Join Joyfully, a mental health app that gives words of encouragement and empathy on demand, and we've gotten the verbal confirmation from our first enterprise customer!
Can't say who it is, but it's a well known company.
In their Vendor Agreement, they say that we need a general liability business insurance policy for $2 million.
Anyone have advice for how we (as a software provider) can go about this in an affordable way? Do you know any good providers?
Congrats on landing the first enterprise customer! I’d check with a broker who works with software/SaaS companies, since they can usually compare a few providers and help match the exact $2M requirement. Also worth asking the customer if they accept a standard general liability policy or have any specific coverage wording.
