Hi IH,

I just finished a beta version of a productivity app that schedules your to-dos on your calendar. I'm starting small in order to test out the idea and learn from customers on where I should take the product next.

Through my customer research, I've learned that planning works, but is difficult to manage (especially with a dynamic schedule). I've also learned from current academic research that one of the most valuable time management skills is the ability to think about time as a limited resource. My hypothesis is that you will develop better time management skills and a greater control of your time if your tasks are scheduled on a calendar.

My vision is an integrated experience for goal setting, note taking, and time management. However, I need more customer input before I take any steps toward that vision. I don't want to build something nobody will use, so I'm shipping early and often with the hopes of learning as fast as possible.

    Just a heads up, but your site wouldn't load for me on Firefox. It did work fine in Chromium. It looked good on Chromium.

      Thanks for the heads up on Firefox. If you have a spare minute, it would be great to get your Firefox version number. I'll do some investigating.

        I am on version 64, but it works now; I was using terrible wifi so maybe that was it.

      Thanks for the link! I've received some feedback recently that not everything should be scheduled by default and have been contemplating around how to incorporate a backlog into the flow. This app definitely does it in a great way.

    Really, really like the idea! I would 100% use it to plan out my day via tasks instead of jumping around. Couple questions that I could already be in there but I'm not sure:

    1. Does it take into account events already on your calendar?
    2. Would there be a way to view the calendar inside your app?
    3. It said notifications needed to be enabled - was the google calendar side?

      1. Yes, it plans your tasks around events already on your calendar.
      2. This is a great idea and I'd love to put together some mockups and get your feedback on incorporating the calendar inside the app.
      3. This message is just applicable to connecting the google calendar. When developing the app, I had some issues on my local machine with popups and figured that others might also have problems. The message may not be necessary, but wanted users to know that if they clicked the connect calendar button and nothing happened, it might be because popups are not enabled.

      Hey! Thanks a lot for checking it out and letting me know about the bug! I'm thinking it has something to do with how it handles time zones in the frontend and will investigate some more.
