Feedback on landing page, idea and pitch

This would be pretty awesome. I'm curious how you aggregate and search through everything? Do users connect their relevant accounts and you store everything in a DB and search through that?

Also, noticed you're from Vancouver, that's awesome! I'm living in Vancouver as well, working on https://jobeir.com in my spare time :)

Two things stand out to me:

1 - Copywriting

Don't let your reader get past the headline and wonder "wait, is this for me?" Better than "explaining" the product, try writing a headline (or headline options) that call out the pain it calls directly.

For example, in the discussion below, I think you said it quite nicely: "There's no real consensus on where specific types of documentation should live so it ends up all over the place."

That's going to get the attention of anyone who has felt that problem, and make them want to know more.

2 - Security
I'm not a security nut by any means, but how does someone know they can trust you with access to internal documentation? Are you storing data? What can you do to ease concerns about giving up the keys to our kingdom?

About your landing page here some tips you can add/adjust:

• You can add contact/ about, somewhere where i can read more about you project, when people are interested they likely want to read more
• Think to move email input to the bottom
• form at bottom disturb visual view (Add! button not fit ) You can make product name input and mail in one section

A really great idea, and I think there could be a good business opportunity here!

There are two things coming to my mind. The first is the logo. I would prefer it was a bit more in the left corner.

The other thing is your tagline, I find it a bit long. I would put it instead of this "Freedom to use the right tool for the job,
without sacrificing discoverability." And then make a shorter tagline to the top. Maybe something like "All your documents in one place."

This is a great idea! It's amazing how so much time is wasted trying to find relevant information within even a single small company.

Are you planning on having saved searches?

Critiques on the landing page:

1. The logo looks a bit misplaced in relation to the rest of the content; it's on a white background off to the left with nothing to balance it on the right.
2. The name Sequery doesn't really hint at what your product does, and you'll probably get questions about how it is pronounced
3. The tagline "Search all of your team's tools at once" makes it seem like the product searches tools by name or description instead of the content that's stored within those tools; the second tagline would serve better as the main tagline "Sequery is one place to search all of your team's documentation (wherever it's stored)." I would first explain what the product does before asking for an email
4. I think the word "team" presents better than "company"

I like it, the place I work has various integrations going on for docs (split somewhere between hipchat, google docs and AWS) - this would be super handy.
