Feedback Request: Search engine for creative domain names
Hey IH, I want to ask for honest feedback about an idea I'm working on.
domain.garden is a faster way to search for interesting domain names like crisp.chat, frame.work or magic.link. The opportunity is that most domain registries are very focused on .com, .io etc, while the number of creative domains e.g. on Product Hunt increases. A lot of people seem naturally interested in "cool" domain names (like the popular joke that step 1 of starting a project is to buy a domain).
After sharing this project on IH and smaller reddit communities last week I've seen moderate interest (450 unique page hits with ~25 recurring per day). I think there is potential in the idea. The biggest problems I see are user retention and monetisation.
Would you be interested in this tool at all, what would you make come back to the site? I'm currently thinking about adding more discovery features compared to other sites, like showing popular domains for each extension or showing how popular a name / phrase is. Any other thoughts?

I'm loving domain garden.
I was only using it to brainstorm some domain name ideas but ended up buying a .guru domain when I saw the price bubble appearing over it (and it was really cheap!).
Not sure what you can do about retention.
Now I've got my domain I don't really need to visit the site (until my next idea).
It's difficult because the site sends people off to namecheap (or wherever) and you don't see them again.
