Finally found a problem to try and solve.
I finally found something I want to work on. I started over the weekend, I am enjoying working on it so far. It's a good feeling, I am trying to figure out how to qualify my idea as soon as possible. Anything else I can do while I build out the first few features before I go live with a limited feature set?
Initially I can think of getting a domain name, maybe setting up stripe, and mailchimp to get things rolling?
I would go with the non-technical parts.
For example, get a landing page up with some way to keep in touch (like you mentioned, mailchimp works). And start talking to people who you think it will appeal to ASAP.
Validating an idea is by far the most difficult step for me. It requires either money or time. I've never been sure enough of my ideas to spend a few hundred dollars on ads, and finding the right way to involve yourself in a community where the idea might be appealing is a struggle.
Yeah, totally. I think That will be the struggle for sure.

Start talking with a couple friends and see if they have the same problem, family members, or colleagues. Doesn't have to be anything too intense, just bring it up in conversation and take internal notes!
If you are lucky and you know already someone in your network who would be interested in your service, give her/him a shout out. See if she/he resonates with your solution.
I am working on my google form to help gauge interest, What should be included to gauge interest from a community I know this is probably super specific, but on a general level if there are any universal questions I could ask.
