🤞 First time building in public
I've been thinking about an idea for a few months now, and I am finally at the point where I think I can start working on it.
I want to make it easier to remember details about the connections in your life. I guess anyone could use it, but I'm targetting working professionals. Think consultants, real-estate agents, pastors, etc...
They often interact with other people on a semi-regular basis. What if there was an easy and quick to not only log but recall details about those people?
As an example let's say you are a startup founder and have been talking to a few VCs firms about a potential investment. After your first meeting, you could enter any details that you want to remember. Maybe a spouse's name was mentioned, or maybe a favorite football team. You would be able to quickly find this information for future meetings. Remembering details (no matter how small) shows you care.
I'm building Nodepath to solve this.
Isn't this just a CRM
Kind of...but not really. CRMs are built for business. I want this to be tailored for working individuals.

Again, kind of...but not really. I guess it could be a mash-up between the two.
What is going to make me different is the user experience. Stay tuned for more details :)
Good luck, Joe! I think the market you're after is a good one — individual professionals/solo business owners seem terminally underserved in a lot of needs. Do you have any initial thoughts on what your USP or big differentiator would be vs, say, an address book or finding a workflow for this use case on a pre-existing platform?

Just like Notion's big differentiator was their UX, I have an idea for how to make the UX for this product more intuitive and easier than other products I have looked at. Both in data entry and reference.
I'm going to start prototyping that UX so I can get screenshots on the page and build from there.
