We posted here a few months ago when we we launched our web app for listing and sharing favourite places in the neighbourhoods you love. You all gave us some amazing feedback and helped move Bimble on hugely.
We have just begun building our iOS app for a launch before Christmas. Super exciting!

Very cool! Beautiful design and I think it could really work. I tend to save my favorite places on Google Maps (start, heart, etc. lists) but there is very little tooling from there. Google Maps way is very punctual, i.e., your favorite place will be a latitude and longitude. What if my favorite place is a whole street, or a neighborhood?
I have not checked the features you guy have, but a tool to select an area on the map and add that is a favorite place could be interesting too.

It is possible to list a street/neighbourhood at the moment, but only if it is already stored on our database as an individual place.
Currently the way we would love people to use Bimble is to share their neighbourhood with us, but make it a list, rather than a place. We want to encourage users to share the places which make these neighbourhoods so great. This is where we believe the value is - the reason a neighbourhood is great, rather than just that it is.
