I am currently finishing up a strict 14-day paper-trading trial to prove the underlying data edge before I even think about distribution or pricing. However, to answer your question in the spirit of it: the pre-launch activity that has brought the highest-intent *strategic partnerships* has been the "build-in-public" journey right here on Indie Hackers, combined with direct, honest outreach to veteran founders. By sharing the raw methodology and the brutal honesty of the test (including the days we find zero edge), it actually attracted a veteran founder who is now doing an independent evaluation on my dataset. I completely agree with your realization about distribution. Building a community presence now means that when the data validates the product, I'll have a warm audience of founders and traders who already trust the methodology, rather than shouting into the void on launch day.
