You signed up for scheduled PageSpeed monitoring because a stack of open PageSpeed Insights tabs does not survive a second client. The usual stall is not motivation. It is sequence: which screen comes first, how many URLs belong in week one, and when budgets should start paging someone.
We wrote a product-specific Apogee Watcher setup path from an empty account to a site that runs on its own: organisation, site, discovery or manual URL list, mobile and desktop schedule, baseline run, budgets, then email alerts. You do not need a Google Cloud project or a PageSpeed Insights API key; the product holds that integration.
A sensible first pass is ten to twenty priority paths, not the entire sitemap. Homepage, primary conversion URL, and a few template representatives are enough to prove the loop before you expand.
Gather hostname, three to fifteen priority paths, one alert owner, and a cadence (daily for high-change sites, weekly for stable brochure work).
Add one site per property; discover from sitemap or force-add campaign landers discovery misses.
Run a baseline on priority pages, then set LCP, INP, CLS, and score budgets that match your contract.
Confirm an admin receives the digest with a temporary threshold on a staging URL you control.
