Good book on improving communication/presentation skills
I have a B2B product and end up doing in person presentations and sending presentations along to get meetings to discuss the product and service I am selling.
I realized my skills are not up to the mark, I am able to get a few meetings but I am struggling to communicate my idea across. So I am trying to improve my communication skills and improve the flow in my presentation
Anyone have any suggestions on what I should be reading to improve that skill? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Truly, the cheapest, fastest and most useful way is to find a business oriented Toastmasters and then go to as many meetings as possible. Take every role you can get, take every chance to do Table Topics (impromptu speeches) and prepared speeches on the educational tracks called Pathways. I have been a member for 3 years and have seen extraordinary transformations and career advancement from otherwise shy, introverted people who blossomed in the system.

It probably will take too much of reading to improve your presentation skills.
If I may suggest try rehearsing your presentation, ideally with people whose opinion you value and who can deliver quality feedback or record it and check yourself afterwards.
dude fuck the books, go to a meetup debate group and take a trail by fire.
Thanks for that, I am doing the trial by fire part by doing it with live clients. I am just trying to improve my skills before I go there. And I am trying to improve my presentations before hand without burning through too many potential clients
