Hi Mark, I'm a part of Cheddar (the billing API, not the media company) so I've seen my fair share of pricing models and conversations about A/B testing pricing.
My advice: avoid A/B testing your pricing. (If someone else has done this with success, I'd love to hear your story)
Rather, I would first take a systematic approach to find your first price point + iterate. Here's an overview of pricing strategies I wrote. It's more tailored to transactional software, but it might be helpful for finding your marketplace's pricing too. If it is helpful, I suggest signing up for the "Pricing Bootcamp" at the bottom of the page.
After your initial launch, you can start iterating your pricing from what you learn.
