Helping Freelancers Understand Legal Risks — Let’s Start with Real Contracts

Hi everyone,

I’ve been helping businesses as a lawyer for over a decade — drafting contracts, fixing mistakes, and protecting clients from costly legal traps. But I’ve always stayed in the background.

Now, for the first time, I’m stepping into the public space.

No Facebook, no Indie Hackers, nothing — until now.

Why?

Because I’ve seen too many freelancers lose money or opportunities over things that could have been prevented with a simple legal check or a better contract.

And because I finally feel a strong pull to share what I know — and build something of my own.

Yes, I’ve launched a small legal template pack on Gumroad (paid), and I’ve created a free quiz-style game to help freelancers spot legal risks playfully (Freelance Quest: Survive Legally).

But more importantly, I want to build this on real value and trust, not just products.

And one more thing: I love AWS. I even got certified as a Cloud Practitioner — not to switch careers, but to understand how things work on the other side of the screen. I work with a lot of developers, and I believe a lawyer should speak their language too.

So here’s what I’d love to offer to this community:
