How do you manage / keep track of your cloud hosting costs?

I just came to know that we are getting charged about $150/mo by AWS because of a test RDS instance that one of my developers created a few months back and then forgot to stop. We use GCP and DigitalOcean as well. Is there a tool that can help manage our hosting cost and make sure that we don't incur additional charges than necessary?

    Not sure about GCP or DigitalOcean but for AWS there is some built-in tooling that can help track and budget your spend: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/awsaccountbilling/latest/aboutv2/monitoring-costs.html

      I second this. Even though the UI is a bit messy - The data AWS provides about your spending can be quite useful
