How scammers stole our video and, in a few years, asked to promote it on our blog 🤯
I have worked in the animation industry for 10+ years. We had many cases when someone stole our work. I tweeted about a few of such claims.
But this one is hilarious. 🫠
So, I got a spammy email from Deepak Kumar from Webdev_com about link exchange. (here is the profile on LinkedIn). I've ignored it.

After a few days, he sent me another email, and I decided to check their company. Most of the videos were cheap, low-quality samples. But one of them drew my attention. It was our video we did years ago 🤯 , and that one was better than other videos on the website. So, I've asked which exactly video he wants to include in the article. After some answers, he proposed including the stolen video in our blog post. According to his words, their team did it in 2 days 🤣.

Interesting fact ☝️, they put logo animation in front of our video. Great job, guys 👎 but in the end, we will send a copyright claim to the account.

They may steal other videos on their web page and YouTube channel from other artists. If you know someone related, please mention them in the comments. So they can claim copyright infringement.
