How users discover saas products today?
Before working on https://www.saastraq.com we did a survey that resulted in giving us some good insights about saas products discovery i.e. sources of discovering, frequency of discovery, no. of product trials, etc.
The survey was done among Product Manager, Internet Marketers, Developers, Project Managers, and startup founders.
I am inserting the stats here for your reference, hope it helps you all.
Surprised there is no Twitter or general word of mouth.
Also, directories is spelt incorrectly (sorry!).
Ohh, my bad. I didn't notice it last week when I got it designed out of the Google survey data.
I don't know if people discuss saas products offline, but yes, Facebook is there, and I guess this is because of the few active SaaS groups there like SGH, Saas Products & Marketing.
We may consider it as a recommendation too.
