I am about to launch an app. How should I target my potential customers in early day?

I am about to launch my first app. It's a platform where you could manage your communities.

I have started writing content, building audience on social media. But I am thinking to contact some already ranking blog post publisher to include my app into their article.

Do you think it's a good idea? And if yes, how do I do that.

Apart from this, what else I could do to get more attention from potential customers?

    Hey Amy,

    I think contacting blog authors to include your app is a great idea. Building relationships is a long term process, and it's good that you are starting early on.

    You can follow this process to contact any blog author:

    1. Find relevant blogs
    2. Install email finder Chrome extension
    3. You'll get many emails in the extension. Thus, you need to use a free email verifier tool so that you are sending out emails to the email addresses that actually exist.
    4. Prepare a good personalized cold email. This is the most important step. You need to craft a compelling offer for them to consider your request. Example: Guest post, priority access to your app etc.
    5. Follow-up

    I'm a marketer at a SaaS company, and this is more or less the exact process through which we have gathered a good amount of coverage.

    Apart from this, I think you should keep an eye on your competitors. Shortlist their top acquisition channels and see if you can do the same.

    I have a question - Is it similar to tribe, circle etc?

      Hi @Deep98,

      Can you please let me know which terms I should focus to find relevant blogs for getting listed my app into? For example, an app competing with meetup.com

      Also, which Chrome extension do you use for emails? Is there one for free and does it check and verify emails?

      If you have to find out, what are the acquisition channel meetup focusing on? How will you do it?

      Sorry I am a newbie in SEO

        You can try out other chrome extensions as well for finding emails.

        For email verification, there are many free tools. Just Google it. We, currently, use a paid tool like https://salesblink.io

        Use any free SEO tool to analyze acquisition channels of your competitors, its data will not be accurate, but you'll get a basic idea :)
