I built a media tracker to replace my spreadsheets (TV, movies, manga)

I was tracking TV on TV Time, movies on IMDb, and manga in spreadsheets. When I got into collecting manga, juggling tools got annoying, so I built Konsumr, a personal media tracker to replace my spreadsheets. It’s early, I’m the main user, and I’d love some feedback.

This is such a solid use of MVP thinking — turning spreadsheets into something interactive and tailored shows you’re solving a real pain point you live with, not just a theoretical one. When you’re tracking multiple mediums (TV, movies, manga), the hardest part isn’t the data store — it’s the meaningful signal that keeps you engaged instead of overwhelmed.
One thing that really resonates from my experience with similar tools: how you frame the next action after logging something is almost as important as the logging itself. Helping users say “I want to watch this next” or “I care most about this genre right now” can make the tracker feel like a personal guide instead of just a database.
Curious — how are you thinking about discovery and engagement once someone logs their first few entries? That’s where growth hooks often show up for tools like this.
I’d love to hear how your analytics are shaping up — happy to dive deeper on feedback loops or user flow patterns that get people coming back
