I built an open marketplace for AI agent skills - here's what I learned

I've been building SkillFlow (https://skillflow.builders) — an open marketplace that connects AI agent skills with business teams.

The Problem

The AI agent ecosystem is exploding. There are now 500+ MCP servers, thousands of AI tools, and new capabilities launching daily. But finding the right skill for your use case is like searching for a needle in a haystack.

What I Built

SkillFlow solves this by creating a curated, searchable marketplace where:

• Developers can publish and monetize their AI agent skills
• Business teams can discover pre-built capabilities without coding
• Everyone benefits from community ratings and reviews

Think of it as "npm meets Product Hunt" but specifically for AI agent capabilities.

Tech Stack

• Built with Next.js + TypeScript
• MCP Server published on npm (skillflow-mcp-server)
• Listed on the Official MCP Registry (Anthropic)

Current Traction

• 500+ skills listed
• Published on 8+ MCP registries and directories
• Growing community of AI builders
