Spent 3 months building ESENCIA S.S. — an internal wellness and injury-prevention system, born from 25 years running hotel operations myself.
Tested it with my own team first. Real check-ins, real data, real reduction in reported pain incidents.
It's built and validated — but I'm not looking to sell the source code anymore. I'm exploring how to take it further with the right person: someone with B2B SaaS commercial experience, or just genuinely curious about solving a real operational problem from inside an industry that's usually overlooked.
Happy to talk if this resonates.
25 years in hotel operations gives this a much more grounded origin than most SaaS launches. Curious what surprised you most when you tested it with your own team.
Thanks, Aryan . that question actually made me stop and think for a second.
What surprised me most wasn't the physical pain data itself, it was how close mental load came to matching it. I expected lower back and wrist complaints to dominate completely, given the physical nature of housekeeping work. But when I looked at the aggregated reports, mental load was almost tied with the top physical complaints. That wasn't something I had designed the product around initially , it made me realize the tool needs to take emotional fatigue as seriously as physical strain, not as an afterthought.
It's the kind of thing you only catch once real people start using something daily, not from a spec doc.
Happy to go deeper on this if you're interested , feel free to send me a message.
Thanks, Maritza. I’d be interested in going a bit deeper on what changed in your thinking after seeing that data. Happy to continue privately — what’s the best email to reach you on?
