I built FinderLock: lock files on Mac with Touch ID (no more passwords)

I’ve been working the past month on FinderLock, a native macOS app that lets you lock and unlock files directly in Finder using Touch ID + AES-256 encryption.

The idea came from my own pain: protecting design files and client work usually meant juggling complex passwords or using clunky encryption tools that broke my workflow. I wanted something as simple as unlocking my Mac — just a fingerprint.
