I built LyricMV because most lyric videos ruin emotional timing

Hey Indie Hackers 👋

I love emotional music, but I noticed something strange while watching lyric videos.

Most lyric videos show the next line too early.

My brain starts reading ahead before the vocals arrive, and emotional songs suddenly feel less immersive.

So I started experimenting with different subtitle pacing styles:

• karaoke timing

• cinematic delayed timing

• word-by-word sync

Surprisingly, slower cinematic timing felt far more emotional.

That experiment eventually became LyricMV.

It helps creators turn songs into immersive lyric videos in minutes with AI.
