I started Roomagic because I kept noticing the same problem with home makeovers: it’s hard to picture the result before spending money.
Changing paint, furniture, rugs, lighting, or decor can be expensive, and most people don’t want a full interior design project at the beginning. They just want to see a few possible directions and decide what feels right.
Roomagic is my attempt to make that first step easier.
The workflow is simple:
- upload a real room photo
- choose the room type and style
- generate a few visual design ideas
- compare different directions before making changes
I’m trying to keep the product focused on quick visual inspiration rather than pretending it can replace a professional interior designer.
Right now I’m working on improving the landing page, examples, and SEO around the “AI room design from photo” workflow.
I’d love feedback on two things:
1. Does the positioning feel clear?
2. What kind of before/after examples would make this more trustworthy?
If anyone wants to take a look, it’s here: https://roomagic.me/
The positioning feels fairly clear.
What I'd watch for is whether users are actually trying to choose a design direction or trying to gain confidence before spending money.
Those sound similar, but they can create very different validation signals. Someone can love generated designs and still not be any closer to making a purchase decision.
