I buried 5 business ideas before they went live - now i want to beat my perfectionism.

I‘m tired of not starting.

I've been writing for over 15 years. I'm a SEO and content specialist and have started various blog projects over the last 5 years - but always stopped them. Usually before they even went live.

Blame it on my perfectionism.

I‘m overthinking everything. Idea. Domain. Design. Content.

But I decided that 2023 will be different. 💪

I would like to build a business this year as a sideline to my job - and have several ideas for it.

Since I want to use my skills as a SEO expert, I plan to sell an ebook or a digital course later this year. For now, I want to focus on SEO as a service. It‘s kind of a website where I‘m going to offer copy writing and SEO optimization for a monthly price.

My plan:

• simple landing page (carrd or webflow)
• newsletter via substack with tips and stuff
• Stripe for payment service
• maybe gumroad for digital products like playbooks, cheat sheets…

I want to keep it as simple as possible to go live directly and improve afterwards instead of optimizing and never get ready like so many times before.

I want to build this with you. There are lots of questions in my head. What services should I offer? Maybe just SEO copywriting in the beginning? How can I get customers without an audience? How do I build a mailing list? Is carrd the best option to start or webflow or another one?

What should I do next? I‘ve read so many inspiring resources, but it‘s like a puzzle for me. I know how to do SEO, but I don‘t know how to sell a product.
