I’m launching TourKit — a developer-first onboarding platform for SaaS

After months of building, breaking, rebuilding, and questioning whether I was solving the right problem, I'm finally launching TourKit. 🚀

TourKit is a developer-first onboarding platform for SaaS products.

The idea came from a simple problem:

Getting users to understand a new SaaS product is important, but building and maintaining onboarding shouldn't become another engineering project.

With TourKit, developers can create interactive product tours and onboarding flows without building the entire system themselves.

What you can do with it:

• Create and manage product tours from a dashboard

• Add TourKit to your website with a lightweight SDK

• Works with React, Next.js, Vue, and plain HTML

• Create multi-step onboarding flows

• Customize colors, themes, fonts, and tooltips

• Support mobile onboarding

• Track tour views and completion/drop-off

• Preview tours while building them

• Manage tours without redeploying your application

• Use AI to help generate tour configurations

One thing I care about a lot is reducing repetitive work for developers.

Instead of asking an AI coding agent to repeatedly modify your codebase to create onboarding, TourKit lets developers use AI to generate a tour configuration, review it, and import it.

The developer stays in control.

I'm planning to launch TourKit on Product Hunt on September 25th.

This is still very much a work in progress, and I'm looking for people who are willing to actually try it rather than just tell me whether the idea sounds good.
