Idea/vision for the name and why I invested in the name
As a domain domain investor I typically think about what kind of project/company can be built around the name. I figured it is a pretty decent name that could be dedicated to black/African American products and/or services. Possibly even an online magazine or media outlet of some sort.
The other thought I had was it could be used for a company related to crypto or the blockchain. I have noticed that some in that crowd like names related to darkness, space or something of that sort. Names such as Dark matter, Nebula, Onyx, black coin and so on. Mot all name are like this but it is one type that seems to be well received.
Nice! where did you sell it? I have a bunch of domain names but am not sure of the best places to sell them. I'm a bit lazy so only want to list on a single domain market, do you have a suggestion?
I Sold it on my marketplace at Brandful. However, I do list my domains at other marketplaces such as dan.com, afternic.com and sedo.com. Listing your names at these marketplaces gives you added exposure due to their partnership with other registrars and the ability of prospective buyers to purchase your domain via the registration path.
If you want to just list at one marketplace, Afternic is probably the best place to list your names because it is owned by GoDaddy and your names are automatically visible in GD registration path and they get probably somewhere in the six figure range of visitors looking to buy domain names.
I would list at as many as possible to increase exposure and chance of a sale. Good luck and hopefully you can get some sales
